The aim of the study is to analyze the role of individual, demographic, environmental and external factors in youth employability. The research method is survey and the statistical population is all young people aged 18 to 35 in the urban areas of Zanjan province in 2024, which are a total of 199,327 people. The sample size was estimated to be 383 people according to Cochran's formula and the data was collected from 388 respondents using proportional sampling. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher and the validity and reliability of the tool was confirmed.According to the findings of the research, among the individual factors, gender, age, education, type of university (school), familiarity with an international language, employment status, marital status, residential area level, and household income status have an effect on employability (Sig < 0.05 & P > 0.95). Among the environmental factors, the effect of work culture (ß = 0.294 & Sig < 0.01) and access to sources (ß = 0.24 & Sig < 0.01) of approval and family conditions were rejected (Sig > 0.05). Also, the effect of external factors of the existence of labor demand (β = 0.439), the state of macroeconomic variables from the point of view of the respondents (β = 0.142), recruitment and employment conditions (β = 0.35) and educational qualification on employability (β = 0.374) were confirmed (Sig < 0.01). Due to the fact that the effect of most of the individual factors related to the actor was confirmed, it is suggested to consider different policies in the field of promoting work culture, educational planning and holding workshops to strengthen employability, etc.
