One of the important issues in the field of urban management and planning is the resilience of urban spaces, which, by strengthening public services, increasing flexibility in infrastructure, and spatial connectivity, plays a crucial role in enhancing livability, quality of life, and the sustainability of cities. In this regard, evaluating and prioritizing the dimensions of urban-space resilience can provide a practical and efficient framework for managerial decision-making and urban planning. The present study aimed to examine the dimensions of urban-space resilience and determine the effective priorities in promoting urban livability in Aligudarz. This study is applied in purpose and descriptive-analytical in nature and was designed with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a researcher-constructed questionnaire with the participation of 383 individuals from the study population, including citizens, urban experts, university professors, and city managers. The questionnaire covers six dimensions of resilience: physical-spatial, environmental-ecological, social-cultural, psychological-perceptual, economic, and managerial-institutional, comprising a total of 37 indicators. To analyze the data and determine the relative importance of the resilience dimensions, multi-criteria decision-making methods were employed. In this regard, the EDAS and WASPAS models were used to calculate the weights of the indicators and rank the dimensions. The results indicated that the physical-spatial dimension, with a score of 0.723, is in first priority; the managerial-institutional dimension, with a score of 0.709, is in second place; and the social-cultural dimension, with a score of 0.600, is in third place. Therefore, examining and integrating resilience with urban livability is innovative relative to previous studies because urban resilience is a multi-dimensional concept, and its impact on enhancing urban livability stems from the interaction among the various physical, managerial, social, economic, and environmental factors. Consequently, to improve resilience with the aim of enhancing the livability of Aligudarz, the study provides recommendations at its end.
