Championship sports require stable financial resources to continue their success, but dependence on government budgets and economic challenges have seriously limited the development of this field; therefore, identifying strategies to attract private sector participation to transition from the traditional budgeting system to modern financial support is an undeniable necessity. The present study aims to investigate strategies to increase private sector participation in financial support of championship sports in the country. This study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of method with a structural equation modeling approach. The statistical population included sports and industrial managers and officials in Tehran province (N≈2000), and according to the Nunnally and Bernstein rule (allocation of 5 to 10 samples for each item), 300 people were analyzed as the final sample by a random-classified method. The data collection tool included standard questionnaires "Strategies for the Advancement of Champion Sports" and "Financial Support", whose validity (content and structure) and reliability (with Cronbach's alpha coefficients of 0.94 and 0.913) were verified. Data analysis was also performed in the SPSS-26 and Amos-24 software environments.The results of the present study confirm that *financial support, as a key driver, has a positive, direct and significant impact on the development process of championship sports. This impact, beyond the purely material dimensions, has systematically overshadowed four strategic areas including "economic" (the boom of the sports industry), "social" (enhancing social capital and national pride), "management" (improving structures and organizational accountability), and "government" (facilitating policymaking and reducing corporateism). In addition, the findings show that progress in the field of championship sports is a direct function of the optimal configuration of components such as strategic management, intelligent budget allocation, modernization of hardware equipment and strengthening motivational stimuli* among athletes and technical staff.
