The present study aims to assess the current state of urban livability and identify its most influential dimensions in the city of Sirjan. Employing a descriptive-analytical and applied approach, this study investigates four primary dimensions: physical, social, economic, and environmental. Data were collected via questionnaires from a sample of 384 citizens and were analyzed using a suite of statistical tests, including the one-sample T-test, Friedman test, Pearson correlation, and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) within SPSS and Smart PLS software. The results of the one-sample T-test indicated that, at a 95% confidence level, all livability indicators are in a favorable condition. Furthermore, the Confirmatory Factor Analysis, with T-values exceeding 1.96, validated the research model's structural validity. However, the prioritization results from the Friedman test offered a more nuanced perspective: the economic dimension was identified as the most significant factor (mean rank = 3.24), while the social dimension was ranked as the weakest link in the city's livability from the citizens' viewpoint (mean rank = 1.96). This significant gap indicates an imbalance in urban development. Moreover, the Pearson correlation analysis confirmed a very strong, positive, and significant relationship between the physical (0.942), social (0.956), economic (0.918), and environmental (0.931) dimensions and overall livability. Collectively, these findings indicate that while the overall state of livability in Sirjan is positive, the imbalanced attention to its dimensions, particularly the neglect of the social dimension, threatens the long-term sustainability of its quality of life. The study thus underscores the necessity of adopting a holistic approach wherein the strengthening and enhancement of social indicators are prioritized in parallel with economic development.
