Identifying the components of venture entrepreneurs' intentions in adopting technological innovations with an emphasis on financial technologies

Abstract
Technological progress in the past few decades has led to digitalization of the economy and increased the speed of economic development. The need for digitalization of the economy has become more apparent than ever. The emerging industry of innovative technologies, especially in the financial sector, is exposed to competition from traditional financial services. Therefore, this article aims to identify the components of the intentions of risky entrepreneurs in accepting technological innovations. The research method is of an applied type and, from the perspective of approach, is a mixed (qualitative-quantitative) exploratory type. In the qualitative part, the content analysis method was used, and, considering the content of the interviews and the validity assessment of the indicators obtained by the Delphi method, 42 indicators, and 8 main components were approved by experts. The main components are: individual attitude, mental norms, perceived capabilities and capabilities of technological innovations, social environment, dimensions and characteristics of the organization, market conditions, business space actors, and business risk management in the fintech field. The statistical population of this study included 515 people from start-up businesses in Tehran, of 220 people were selected according to the study's statistical population using the Cochran formula, a convenient sampling method. In the quantitative part, the data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire based on the results of the qualitative research, designed and distributed among the statistical sample. Smart PLS-software was used to perform statistical analysis. The research findings confirm a positive and significant relationship between the main components and adoption intentions.
