Abstract
In our country, there has long been a relationship between city and village that according to different geographical, historical, economic, social and cultural conditions in different places and times, both in terms of form and content Shown. It is obvious that a variety of different factors and forces play a role in the formation and evolution of rural settlements. the present study seeks to investigate the physical-spatial transformations of rural settlements around the city of Abhar and the effects of interaction with the city of Abhar on the process of its spatial changes.  The present research is descriptive-analytical in terms of applied nature and from the perspective of review, in which the required information has been collected in two ways: library and field study. Based on this basis, the horizontal growth and rapid creep of Abhar city in recent years has caused that rural settlements located in and around it are subject to merging and annexation outside the context and in some cases in the future plan of the city and villages. many structural-spatial changes Physical-spatial are not the same in all villages and some villages have made different spatial changes according to the conditions they enjoyed, the most important of which are price changes in land use, changes in housing patterns, environmental changes, Pointed out the socio-economic and functional transformations of these rural settlements. In the perspective of the developments of Abhar city, the investments that have been made by the urban dwellers due to the physical expansion of the city and the reduction of the distance between the city and the village have been invested in or on the outskirts of the village and in different parts of housing, garden, etc .; Mutually, it has been invested by villagers in various urban areas, especially housing and shops. We conclude that the investment index well reflects the relationship between city and village.
