Abstract
Urban livability, as a fundamental approach in urban planning and management, reflects the quality of citizens' living experience in the urban environment and consists of dimensions such as urban economy, infrastructure and services, urban community, urban management, and urban environment. Although the perception of the urban environment is subjective in nature, it is directly affected by the objective and managerial conditions of the city.

Accordingly, the present study aimed to investigate the impact of urban livability components on the perception of the urban environment in Region 5 of Tabriz. This study is descriptive-analytical and based on a survey method. Data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire and field studies, and the sample size included 400 citizens of Region 5 of Tabriz, which was determined by the Cochran formula.
